Women Be Silent No MoreDr. Delroy Markland, Bible scholar and pastor, presents biblical proofs of women in both the Old and New Testament who fulfilled biblical roles of leadership as they carried out God's mandate, in his book, Women Be Silent No More!

According to Dr. Markland, "The question I get most often is, 'Is it biblical for women to pastor a church?...' The question should not be 'Is it biblical?' but we should be asking, 'Why for so long have women been prevented from being appointed to top church leadership positions?' This book sets out to answer such questions."
Women Be Silent No More! presents the case for a woman's role in the ministry.  By examining in detail the roles of biblical women as forerunners to women today, Dr. Markland validates women's rights to participate fully in any area of Kingdom work.

Here is an excerpt from chapter twenty-four of the book, Women Be Silent No More!

... Paul pointed to his good spiritual heritage through Lois and Eunice, as a reminder to him from whence he came. These women set the stage for God to work powerfully in Timothy's life.
From the above, we see that Paul "...commended woman as examples of faith and spiritual vitality," 130 which showed that he accepted these women's place in ministry as servants of God meet for the Master's use and prepared unto every good work" (2 Tim 2:21).
When he, Paul, said, "...those women who labored with me in the Gospel" (Phil 4:3), what did he mean? Well, we know the Gospel of the Kingdom is teaching, preaching, healing, cleansing the leper, and casting out demons (Luke 9:6; Mark 3:14-15; Matt 4:23; 9:35; 11:5; Rom 15:16-20). Therefore, Paul was indicating that these women were involved in the ministry of spreading the good news, just like Paul, Jesus, the apostles, and disciples did....
