Dr. William L. Washington says the following to his readers in his latest book, Closing Doors on Echoes of the Past: "Beware of open doors, for they release the echoes of your past and draw you back to a time and place you've once endured. You must close the doors of the past in order to enjoy the future that God has for you, for it is a fact: Time does not close doors, we must!"
Closing Doors on Echoes of the Past is a collection of sermons preached by Dr. Washington that encourages readers to forget those things, which are behind and press toward the mark that God has called them to. Dr. Washington shares how to get past unresolved issues and permanently close the door to past hurts and negativities, and how to not let their past hold them back from moving on to a better life.

Dr. Washington also shares from his own life the damaging effects open doors can have on one's life. But he also shares the victory one can have after properly closing doors of the past and moving on to the blessed life God meant for all of His children to have.

Here's what others are saying about Closing Doors on Echoes of the Past:

"Bishop William L. Washington is a bulwark of faith and is well seasoned in the body of Christ. His timely insights shared in this exciting book, 'Closing Doors on the Echoes of the Past' will undoubtedly be a strong ministry tool. I encourage you to read it and share it with a friend."
-Bishop T. D. Jakes, Senior Pastor
The Potter's House of Dallas, TX Inc.

"Bishop William Larry Washington has managed through this compilation to minister to both the leader and the laity as well as the believer and non-believer with the truths he so powerfully addresses in his book entitled 'Closing Doors on the Echoes of the Past.' This book has blessed me simply because Bishop Washington has taken this thought and handled it with sharing his own transparency and testimony. To forgive, forget and forsake and then press are 'tipping points' that will release any individual to be strengthened to 'close doors' and silence echoes."
-Bishop F. B. Marshall, TH.D
Christ Cathedral Church of Deliverance
Winston-Salem, North Carolina
